Downward Facing Dog
Does downward dog give you a headache?
Ive begun p90x and am on the yoga cd. Everytime I do downward facing dog I feel too much pressure in my sinuses and I cant finish the dvd without a banging headache. I wonder if i should stop yoga or choose another position but I dont know which to do, any advice? Oh Im fairly flexable,and athletic already 115lbs and do not have high blood pressure.
It shouldn’t. If you experience stuff like that you should try modifying the pose until it feels comfortable, or just avoid it altogether. You can try placing your knees on the ground during down dog, or resting in child’s pose until you feel good enough to go on.
